dog

This week it was a dog. At the end of a nearly two hour long time whiling stroll through the unfamiliar parts of the neighborhood, a little squeaky type dog for some strange reason decided that I should not be walking in that particular direction. It was strange because earlier it did not mind me going the other way. It was rearing and bouncing two feet away, unleashed. I walked away, paying it little attention. After I got away from it, at a safe distance, I lost control and my heart started racing a bit. Some dog owners should be more considerate.

kites

I have heard and seen nesting crows attacking people who get too close(I think). I saw a thin fountain rise of out of my little cousin sister's head when I was a kid myself. A crow had pecked her shaved head right at the top. Today, a kite tried to grab my head - twice. The first time, I was caught surprised, as I climbed over to the roof on the ladder, to see why the water tank was leaking. The second time, I thought I was aware of it, but it still surprised me. It was about two hundred feet away, perched on another roof. I turned my head long enough for it to have another go. The third time I was alert enough to spot it way up high after I had climbed down to the floor level. I saw its reflection in a puddle and didn't venture out from under the sunshade. If I had intended to leave the sunshade and then I had spotted it in the puddle, that would have been cool. But this is not one of my fictions. In hindsight, few days ago I had climbed up to the roof to clean the glass that covers the solar water heater (one that does not seem to have wowed not to give me hot water), a kite flew very close. Only think I can think of is, my t-shirt was red on both occasions and I have a feeling that it is the same kite.
